Amti force plate manual

AMTI MODEL OR BIOMECHANICS PLATFORM INSTRUCTION MANUAL GENERAL The AMTI Biomechanics Platform simultaneously measures three force components along the XYZ axes and three moment components about the XYZ axes. The forces and moments are measured by strain gauges attached to proprietary load cells near the four corners of the www.doorway.ru Size: 18KB. This manual discusses methods for mounting the platform using AMTI mounting fixtures or by designing your own. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS AMTI force platforms consist of a top plate connected to a base plate separated by four sensing elements. All loads applied to the top plate must go through these sensing elements in order to be measured correctly. Most AMTI force plates are available in , , and 17,Newton vertical force capacities. The capacity selected must accommodate the highest vertical load that will be applied to the platform. AMTI force plates are designed with a large safety margin, but platform damage may occur if the device is loaded beyond capacity along any of it axes.

Note: These instructions do not cover the physical mounting of the force plate to the floor. For more information on this consult pages 10 to 22 of the force plate manual. Step 1: Locate the AMTI USB drive. It contains manuals and software for your force transducer. Step 2. The Devices node lists each force plate connected to your Vicon system. For each device, the node name includes any display name specified in the Name property, its sample rate in brackets, and the force plate type in parentheses, for example, Name [Hz] (AMTI AccuGait Force Plate). Balance Clinic was developed for use with AMTI's lightweight and portable AccuSway and AccuGait force plates. Balance Clinic is designed for real-time acquisition and display, allowing the researcher to view center of pressure data as it is acquired. Acquisition rates can be set to 50, or datasets per second.

2. Specify room set-up instructions. The force plate should be placed an adequate distance from the wall so that a staff member may assist the participant will balance issues if needed. The back and one side of the force plate should be positioned at least 6 inches from a wall. At least one side of the force plate should be positioned so an. Note: If using 2 or more force plates, they should be connected to the PC through the provided, powered USB hub. Step 1- Plug the AMTI force plate into the Gen5 or Optima amplifier. Step 2 – Attach the power supply to the Optima Amplifier. Step 3 – Insert the USB A to B cable to the Digital Output port on the amplifier.
